DESCRIPTION

Funded via the following grantmaking programmes:

Arcigay Modena “Matthew Shepard” promotes individual and collective acceptance and culture through training and information projects, in-depth analysis of sexual and emotional health, and socialising through interactive discussion forums and recreational events, borrowing the ideological and executive tools of intersectional transfeminism.
The Women’s Group is open to queer, lesbian, bisexual, trans*, asexual, intersex, non-binary and non-conforming, heterosexual people of different nationalities with different existential and professional backgrounds who share circular practices of collectivisation of knowledge, experiences and skills on an equal basis.
The Women’s Group is a diverse and open group that practises inclusion at all levels, a safe place based on listening, non-judgement and non-violent communication.

The Arcigay Modena Women’s Group is part of Arcigay’s National Transfeminist Women’s Network, which is an open and pluralistic space for discussion and political elaboration, sharing and socialisation. The Transfeminist Women’s Network promotes the visibility and self-determination of LBTQIA+ women, their individual and collective voices through practices of daily existence and resistance, and the construction of meaningful political relationships between women for women in constant communication with all other subjectivities.
